Chocolate Tofu Pudding

Tofu and chocolate may sound like a weird combination, but this recipe brings the two ingredients together to make an absolutely delicious dessert. Chocolate tofu pudding is the perfect protein-rich treat if you have a sweet tooth but are trying to eat healthy. It is also incredibly easy to make and only requires 5 ingredients! Try it as an after-dinner treat or as a healthy snack.

Servings: 2-3


  • 1 block firm tofu

  • ½ cup plant milk of choice

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Optional: plant-based whipped cream and cocoa powder for topping


  • Press the tofu thoroughly.

  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then stir the plant milk into the melted chocolate.

  • Place the tofu, melted chocolate mixture, maple syrup, and vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth to create the pudding.

  • Pour the pudding into small cups or ramekins and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

  • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder if desired.
