Tofu and chocolate may sound like a weird combination, but this recipe brings the two ingredients together to make an absolutely delicious dessert. Chocolate tofu pudding is the perfect protein-rich treat if you have a sweet tooth but are trying to eat healthy. It is also incredibly easy to make and only requires 5 ingredients! Try it as an after-dinner treat or as a healthy snack.

1 block firm tofu
½ cup plant milk of choice
1 cup dark chocolate chips
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
Optional: plant-based whipped cream and cocoa powder for topping
Press the tofu thoroughly.
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, then stir the plant milk into the melted chocolate.
Place the tofu, melted chocolate mixture, maple syrup, and vanilla in a blender and blend until smooth to create the pudding.
Pour the pudding into small cups or ramekins and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder if desired.
