This green smoothie is the perfect recipe for someone who wants to eat a well-rounded breakfast in the morning but doesn’t have time for a sit-down meal. It has all the nutrients you need to start your day in just one glass. Tofu provides a protein boost, fruit adds a dose of carbohydrates, almond butter contains lots of healthy fats, and leafy greens pack in vitamins and minerals! Feel free to customize the recipe by adding seeds, more fruits, or your favorite protein powder.

2 cups leafy greens (spinach or kale work great)
1/2 of a banana (use a riper banana for a sweeter smoothie)
1/2 a cup of mango, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons almond butter
1/4 block of tofu, pressed
1 1/2 cups of almond milk or other plant-based milk
Chop the banana and mango into bite-sized pieces and freeze overnight. Alternatively, you can buy your fruit frozen and skip this step.
Press the tofu for 10 mins.
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Feel free to adjust the quantity of milk to achieve your desired consistency.
