Honey Garlic Tofu Bite

Ingredients


  • 1 package pressed tofu

  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch

  • freshly ground pepper, to taste

  • sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds, to garnish

For the Sauce

  • 2 tbsp. honey

  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced



Instructions


  • Preheat the oven to 400°F. Prepare tofu by pressing in Tofudee Tofu Press for 20 mins., then cut in cubes. Toss with the cornstarch and arrange the tofu on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 30-45 minutes – midway through, flip the tofu cubes.



  • Start the sauce when tofu is light golden brown. In a small frying pan, heat up honey, soy, and garlic over medium heat until bubbly and thick. Taste and season with freshly ground pepper.

  • Remove the tofu from the oven and toss in the sauce.



  • Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
