Scrambled Tofu

This scrambled tofu recipe is perfect for starting the day off right. Filled with protein this breakfast will keep you full until lunchtime.

To make this recipe make sure to crumble the tofu into small pieces, that way you will get almost the same texture of scrambled eggs.

If you have leftovers, you can make some really good wraps. Just add the scrambled tofu in a tortilla with some vegetables, like pepper, salad, avocado and voilà you have a wonderful lunch to bring to work to school.

  • 1 block of firm tofu pressed

  • 1 onion, finely chopped

  • 1 bell pepper finely chopped

  • 1 tsp. turmeric

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp. sweet paprika

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 green onion


  • Press the tofu with Tofudee Tofu Press for 20 min.

  • Pour the vegetable oil into a pan and brown the onion and pepper over medium heat for about 1 to 2 minutes.

  • Crumbled tofu with your fingers. Add to the onion mixture and cook for 1 or 2 minutes.

  • Add spices stirring constantly and continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately. Sprinkle with green onions.
