Tofu Steak

Valentine's Day is almost here and it's not always easy to find a recipe to serve to our sweetheart.

The meal today we got you cover and you will no longer have to search because we have the perfect recipe; the Valentine Tofu Steak! Slices of heart-shaped tofu marinated in a sauce made with balsamic vinegar and Greek spices.

An easy and super delicious recipe that will let you enjoy the evening with your partner because all you have to do is to marinate the tofu and cook everything on a baking sheet.

Prep Time: 15 min

Waiting Time: 1 hr or more to marinate the tofu

Cook Time: 30 min

Servings: 2


  • 1 package tofu(extra-firm)

  • 4 tbsp. balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp. Greek seasoning mix

  • 1 cup baby spinach

  • 3 potatoes

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes

  • 3 tbsp. olive oil

  • salt & pepper to taste

  • Sriracha sauce(optional)


  • Preheated oven to 375 ˚f and pressing tofu with Tofudee Tofu Press.

  • In a bowl add the balsamic vinegar and the Greek spice, mix well Add the pressed tofu and marinate for at least 1 hour.

  • Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into small cubes Place the potatoes and tofu on the baking sheet, sprinkle with olive oil and put in the oven for 20 minutes After 20 minutes add the tomatoes to the baking sheet with the potatoes and tofu and cook for another 10 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven. Assemble the plates.

  • Serve the tofu on a fresh spinach nest with siracha sauce if desired.
