Prep Time: 1 hour
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Servings: 2
Ingredients
1 block of extra firm tofu
2 Nori seaweed sheets
5 baby carrots
1/3 pack Enoki mushroom
1 Avocado
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of agave syrup
1/2 tbsp of sesame oil
1 cup of rice(Not prefer Jasmine rice)
Salt to taste
Instructions
Press tofu with Tofudee tofu press for an hour. The longer you press it the crunchier and firmer the tofu becomes.
To make the vegan sushi, start out by cooking your rice accordingly. For the best result, we recommend using sticky rice. Once it’s cooked, place it in a bowl, add a little bit of sesame oil and salt, and set it aside to cool while you prep the rest of the ingredients.
Make the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, and garlic. Set aside.
Once the tofu is pressed, slice the tofu, place them in a big bowl, add the premade sauce, and let it sit for 10 min.
Place a large pan over low heat and add the veggies, cook till the veggies become golden and crispy.
Add a drizzle of oil on a large pan, place over medium heat and add the tofu, cook for about 5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
put a nori sheet, shiny side down, assemble the rice, veggies, and tofu on top. Then slowly start rolling, squeezing it tightly with both hands as you roll. (Make sure you don't roll it too tight as the roll can rip)
Sprinkle sesame seeds!
Enjoy!😉😉
